This Memorial scholarship is for the daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters of any honorably discharged or deceased men/women veterans, who served during one or both of the following two periods. (1. April 6, 1917-November 1918 (World War I) and 2. December 7, 1941-date to be determined by Congress that hostiles have ended (World War II to present)) REOUIREMENTS: Applicant must be: a resident of the State of Michigan at the time of application and for one year preceding the date of this award, must be going into, or in her senior year of high school, or in freshman/sophomore year of college but not over 21 years of age, and pursuing a course of study at any school, college, or other educational institution in the State of Michigan.
