Margaret & Max Pumphrey Scholarship

Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF)

The* Margaret and Max Pumphrey Scholarship* was established in 1980 by Max Pumphrey, a well-respected and admired teacher in the Lincoln Public Schools. To apply, you must be a current graduating senior or a former graduate of a high school in Lancaster County in Nebraska. It is preferred that applicant plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year university or college in Nebraska. The applicant must demonstrate financial need and must apply for student financial aid at the institution he/she will be attending before approaching the Lincoln Community Foundation for assistance. Recipients of this scholarship may continue receiving funding in subsequent years (up to 4 consecutive years), provided they continue to meet the criteria listed above. See website for details.
