This scholarship supports graduating African-American high school seniors from Fairfield, Kershaw, Lexington, Richland, or Sumter counties in South Carolina. Preference will be given to applicants attending a Historically Black College or University. The minimum GPA requirement is a 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and applicants must be entering their freshman year at an institution of higher learning in South Carolina. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
