This scholarship is for students who are enrolled in an accredited college, university, or flight school as an undergraduate in one of the following programs: flight training; aviation degree program; airframe and power plant certification; or aerospace labor training program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need; have an enrollment status equal to at least half-time (6 credit hours) or be enrolled as a flight training student; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or show satisfactory flight training progress. Applicants must be US citizens or legal residents. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a completed application form and a two-page, double-spaced essay their describing academic and career goals and their interest in pursuing a pilot certificate or degree in aviation. Finalists must participate in a live interview.
