Jay Downs Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Alice High School in Alice, Texas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have lettered in the UIL-sanctioned sport of golf for at least two years. Applicants must have an overall high school GPA of "B" or better; participate in extracurricular activities other than athletics; and exemplify the ideals and spirit of good conduct and sportsmanship benefiting a "Fighting Alice Coyote." Applicants must attend a four-year college or university and register for at least 12 hours of classes.
