This scholarship is for residents of the state of Hawaii who demonstrate the characteristics of a well-rounded, community-minded student of good moral character with a "can-do" attitude. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and enroll full- or part-time in a degree seeking program at a two- or four-year college institution. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay that explains where they draw inspiration and strength from.
