I Mua Malama JROTC Ka'Awaloa Takemoto Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Farrington High School in Honolulu and Nanakuli High School and Wai'anae High School in Waianae, Hawaii. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be Cadets in a Junior Reserve Officer Training (JROTC) program. Applicants must have successfull completed a minimum of one year of the JROTC program and held a leadership position. Applicants must enroll full- or part-time at an accredited two- or four-year college institution. Applicants must demonstrate high moral character and exemplify the following Army values: loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. Applicants must include a letter of recommendation signed by their respective schools' Senior Army Instructor (SAI).
