HGA and Dendel Scholarship
Handweavers Guild of America (HGA)
Both of these scholarships funds are for furthering education in the field of fiber arts, including training for research, textile history and conservation. Scholarships are awarded on artistic and technical excellence rather than financial need.
The HGA Scholarship may be used for tuition only. Priority will be given to those enrolled in academic programs that are focused on advanced, artistic textile art. The Dendel Scholarship may be used for tuition, materials or travel. Priority will be given to those enrolled in academic programs that are focused on traditional weaving.
