Helen C. Wootton, Salisbury Rotary Club Scholarship

Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore

The Salisbury Rotary Club awards a $1,000 scholarship to a senior from each of the Wicomico County high schools. To become eligible, an applicant must fill out this application and submit it to the school guidance department no later than March 31. Each guidance department will then submit the necessary information (school record) with the application to:

In addition, The Helen C. Wootton, Salisbury Rotary Club Memorial Scholarship shall be awarded to two seniors graduating from a Wicomico County High School who has demonstrated moral and intellectual qualities necessary to be distinguished in higher education and who demonstrates a need for financial assistance in order to receive a college education. This scholarship is donated in honor of Miss Helen C. Wootton for the many and valuable years of service she gave to the educational system of Wicomico County and for her concern for the success of each student she met.
