Independent Order of Odd Fellows

This scholarship is for members or relatives of members of an Odd Fellow or Rebekah Lodge. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least one semester in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technology school in an agriculture-related field (see scholarship application for eligible majors). Applicants must have an average to above-average academic record, show a need for financial assistance, demonstrate leadership ability, and pursue a career in agriculture. The application must be signed by the secretary of the Odd Fellow or Rebekah Lodge, with the Lodge seal affixed, to verify membership. Beyond eligibility requirements, scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership activities, financial need, and work experience. The required essays are an important part of the evidence to be considered as well.
