This award is presented for a film that focuses on girls and women in technology and other STEM fields (STEM = science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
Your film should create awareness and focus on solutions. For example, is there a girl(s) or woman in your community who is leading tech initiatives? What got your subject interested in her STEM studies or job--and what helps her hang in there when the going gets tough?
