Georgia's HERO Scholarship

This scholarship is for members of the Georgia National Guard and US Military Reservists who served in combat zones, and the children and the spouses of such members of the Georgia National Guard and US Military Reserves. Recipients must attend an institution that is a unit of the University System of Georgia, or the Technical College System of Georgia, or an eligible private/independent college or university in Georgia. Eligibility requirements for this scholarship vary based on the applicant, see website for more details. Scholarship recipients can receive up to $8,000 each year, awarded in equal $2,000 installments.
