Franklin Zehring Scholarship Fund

Community Foundation of Howard County

This scholarship is for graduating seniors who attend high school in Howard County, Indiana. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to attend a college, university, or trade school in Indiana and demonstrate financial need. Selection will be based on good character; good citizenship; above-average intelligence; good scholastic record (but the recipient cannot be the valedictorian of graduating class and preference will be given to students who are not in the top 10% of their class, but who have a reasonable chance of success in post-secondary education); recommendation from high school principal/faculty member; financial need; and healthy lifestyle.
