This scholarship was established by Wilberforce University in memoriam of its 16th President and first female Chief Executive Officer: the late Dr. Yvonne Walker-Taylor to recognize and honor all women of achievement in America who have provided vision, leadership and personal commitment for the pursuit of freedom in her country. Students should demonstrate an interest in one of the following major divisions: Natural Sciences, Humanities, Business, Social Science and Engineering. Students must be a sophomore or above, enrolled full-time at Wilberforce.
