Dr. Alfred & Ruth Beattie Healthcare Careers Scholarship

Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore

This scholarship is for graduates of public and private high schools in Wicomico County, Maryland, who are enrolled full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study in a health care field with the exception of pre-medical or pre-dental preparation programs. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and have a reputation of good character, above average academic standard, and financial need. Priority will be given to students with the greatest financial need and strong ties to the Eastern Shore.
