This scholarship is for Latino students who are planning to pursue a career in journalism and attend a college or university in California. California residents who are Latino and attend an out-of-state college are also eligible. Scholarships are awarded based on commitment to the field of journalism, scholastic achievement, awareness of Latino issues, and financial need.
