Alan and Rita Shugart Memorial Scholarship

Community Foundation for Monterey County

This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to students with a demonstrated interest in pursuit of a degree in the field of science, technology, engineering, business or entrepreneurship. This is a 4-year renewable scholarship. Applicants should demonstrate financial need; have a GPA of 2.8 or higher; participate in extra-curricular activities such as sports, music, arts, theater, engineering, business or entrepreneurship; submit a 300-word essay. Open to students at Carmel High School, Monterey High School, Pacific Grove High School, Seaside High School, and Stevenson School.
