Al Lucas Memorial Scholarship

Community Foundation of Central Georgia

This scholarship is for seniors at any public high school in Bibb County, Georgia, with an athletic program. Currently, these high schools are Northeast, Central, Rutland, Southwest, Westside, and Howard High School. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be student athletes, have a 2.5 GPA, and be accepted at an accredited two- or four-year university. Applicants must demonstrate a caring attitude, be of high moral character, and show characteristics of positive leadership and citizenship. Two awards will be given to student athletes graduating from Northeast High School (one to a man, one to a woman); the other five awards will be given to student athletes at each of the other five Bibb County public high schools with athletic programs.
