Airgas - Terry Jarvis Memorial Scholarship

American Welding Society (AWS) Foundation

This scholarship is for full-time college undergraduates who are pursuing at least a four-year bachelor's degree in welding engineering or welding technology - priority will be given to welding engineering students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have at least a high school diploma, be attending a US academic institution, and be US citizens. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in engineering subjects and a 2.80 GPA overall. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Alabama, Georgia, or Florida. Priority will be given to those individuals who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor by prior work experience, clubs, organizations, or extra-curricular activities.
