The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Medical Research Foundation is a private foundation committed to a model of open and highly integrated collaboration among outstanding investigators who participate in goal-directed basic and clinical research to prevent, reduce or eliminate disabling and life-threatening illness.

College-bound seniors living in Clark County, Nevada who are pursuing a career in the field of health services at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. Student may be a senior at a charter, private, or CCSD high school and must enroll as a full-time college student. Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
