2026 College Visit Opportunities for Counselors
Written By Regina Jones
Each year, many colleges and universities host college visit opportunities for counselors (also known as “counselor fly-in programs”), inviting high school and community-based organization counselors to experience campuses firsthand. These programs, often partially or fully funded by the host institution, offer an inside look at academic programs, student support services, campus culture, and more.
For counselors looking for the latest information to best guide their students through the college search process, these visits can provide both valuable insight into institutional priorities and relationship-building opportunities with admissions teams.
You’ll notice that programs vary in format, audience, and selectivity. Some are open to all counselors, while others are only by invitation or prioritize counselors who are serving specific student populations or regions. Programs occur throughout the year, with many application deadlines falling between late winter and early summer.
Below, you’ll find a curated list* of 2026 counselor visit opportunities. This list is intended to highlight the range of programs available and increase awareness of these opportunities. While many have already taken place, we encourage you to check back for 2027 programs, as many colleges and universities host these visits annually.
Be sure to review each program’s eligibility requirements and consider applying to those that best align with your students’ needs and your advising goals!
