Review of Weber State University

from West Bountiful, UT

Describe your college in three sentences.

I love Weber State!!! The teachers are extremely caring and are willing to help you with anything in order to help you succeed. I was extremely worried about attending my first year of college, but from the moment I got there I have felt excited about continuing my education at this university.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Take AP and CE credit classes! Not only do they save you time and money but they also prepare you well for your college courses. I worried that I wouldn't be ready for the rigor of my college courses, but I feel that my previous AP and CE courses have prepared me really well.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

Weber State University is a school that is set up to help you succeed.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

I don't know about the Dorm Life. I do not live in a dorm.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

Wide range of food and restaurant choices. The food is good and actually isn't too pricey. The only thing that seems to be a bit pricey are their salads.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

They are seriously hundreds of clubs at Weber State University for you to choose from! They range from sports, to service, to activities. At the beginning of the year, there is a giant club introduction event that occurs in the quad! This will introduce you to a whole bunch of the different clubs offered.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

It's a great school where you can get a great education and earn a degree of your choice without spending an arm and a leg to do so. It's tuition isn't really pricey.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

There are so many fun clubs and activities offered! Don't miss out on the club introduction in the quad at the beginning of each year!

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Has a code purple system set in place to help quickly and thoroughly alert people to any kind of security problem or weather condition which is nice. You can get it sent to your email or your cell phone--whichever you please.
