Wake Forest is not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be pretty challenging with teachers always there to help. From my experiences, the classes push you to your breaking point and some teachers just expect you to know the material.

If you are coming to Wake, wait until second semester to jump into extra activities that could take up a good amount of your time. The first semester is CRITICAL to your transition to Wake. Take time to get to know the people around you and in your classes! Have fun and enjoy the little down time that you get!

Academics at Wake are taken very seriously. Every class is tough, but you have to be willing to spend hours in the library studying to get good grades.

As a freshman, you have no say in where you live or with whom. The dorm rooms are very small and most are hall style.

The food at Wake is pretty good! There are many places to grab a snack on the go or to sit down and enjoy a real meal. With the Pit right in the middle of everything, it is quick and easy!
