Describe your college in three sentences.

This University offers a real college life complete with, dorm rooms, sorority and fraternity life, and the overall load of what college life can be. I have enjoyed going here I would rate the college as a basically average college that offers many great opportunities. If your looking for a great place to start out your educational journey Valdosta State is the place to go.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

If your thinking about becoming a student here at VSU I would recommend you get on the ball with early registration. Also research a few of the organizations here before you start your academic year because getting involved is really the thing to do especially if you are one who thinks you might start missing home getting involved and meeting new people here is really more important than you initially would think.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The classes here are no joke. Do not misunderstand the courses are completely doable but be warned you will work for your degree here.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Personally for me dorm life has been okay for the most part. I was blessed to be assigned an awesome roommate and we get along great. I live in community style dorm life which sound awful but in reality get you a good pair of shower shoes and a water proof cell phone case, blast your favorite music while showering and you're good to go but you might have a few girls a stall or two away singing along with you!!

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The food here is really good but if your planning on staying on campus make sure you get a decent amount of meal tickets because eating at moes, chick-fliet, and the other few sounds good at first but trust me your going to be missing home cooking really soon and the closest your going to get to that id Palms and hopper dining hall. Speaking of which, Hopper might look cooler, but palms tastes better hands down, just saying and yes the food in eat is different.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

Well to be honest, this is college so no doubt it is never hard to find a party on the weekends, just be careful I haven't herd of anyone getting hurt or anything like that but you want to go with friends you trust, just to always be on the safe side. There is a mall and theme park near by and like I said earlier if you get involved with a few organization they will keep you busy trust me.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

Greek life is a huge part of campus life here at VSU. But it seems like fun I would do it if I had to do again but you do not have to be a freshmen to join I have friends in greek life and they love it.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Your safe here don't worry.
