small class sizes really helped me grow as a student. professors are really there for the students with lots of individual attention to our needs.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

apply by march 1st and be automatically considered for early entrance scholarships! anywhere from $800-$2250 based on your entrance average.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

award winning professors and great research opportunities at the undergrad level are unparalleled across canada.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

super sweet! you get your own bathroom in your dorm room, no sharing with the entire hall!

Describe the food and dining at your college.

the head chef for food on campus won iron chef manitoba in 2011 beating out all the top chefs in the province. the food is local, organic, sustainable and affordable adding to the great taste.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

the campus is right downtown everything happens! the winnipeg jets play a few blocks down the road and there are lots of great restaurants, bars, shopping and art galleries in the area.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

the price for tuition was a major attraction because it is the 3rd lowest across canada! really affordable top quality education.

make sure to check out the annual rock climb! you can even make a team and go for glory yourself!

Which types of students will excel at your college?

down to earth students with a social conscious to go getters with the entrepreneurial spirit. science students can benefit from small lab sizes and the newest science facility in canada!

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

over 80 different unique and diverse student groups! i met some of my best friends in student groups!

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

haven't heard of any incidents on campus and i've been around for a long time!
