University of West Georgia is a great school. The location is nice, it's like the town is only for the school. Everywhere you go you see something that might say "UWG", its just cute. The school also has a great balance between doing your work and having fun. People say it's a party school but I think that would be exaggerating.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
If you know you're considering this school, apply early or on time so you can turn all of your documents in and so you won't be stressed. Also apply for dorms as possible as you can, DO NOT WAIT or you'll be stuck in a ran down building with community bathrooms. And most importantly, have fun but also stay focused. Be social and get involved! If you don't, the school may seem boring to you but I think that applies at any school. If you're shy, this is your chance to break that.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The professors work with you, you just have to go to them if you need any extra help. Also office hours are offered, this is alone time between you and your professor.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
The dorms are nice. However, they are first come, first serve so I wouldn't recommend signing up late. The best freshmen dorms are Centerpointe and Oaks.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The food is good, there just isn't a large variety of things to choose from. Every week they serve the same food. Monday is "Mexican Monday," which includes tacos and other things. Wednesday is "Fried Chicken Wednesday," which includes southern food such as collard greens, macaroni, mashed potatoes and other foods. The other days of the week normal food is served. Although there are a lot of restaurants around campus.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
The campus offers a lot of different fun things to do, you just have to get involved. There are always posters hanging around campus about events happening, such as probates, dorm building events, football and basketball games.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
University of West Georgia has lots of different clubs and organizations, join as many as you can bear. It will be fun and also you can make more networks and connections that way. You never know who you'll meet.

There are lots of police controlling the campus during the week and there are even more during the weekends. However they has been lots of robberies and shootings in nearby apartments and student apartments.
