the school is good at making you feel at home, the classes aren't over sized or stuffed to the brim. they actually care about us achieving what we want to do in life and they give us great adviser's to help us understand. pembroke is cultural every race is represented here.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
always do your work don't get caught up in trying to party and drink and be cool, because at the end of the day you need to succeed and get your degree to make a living so it is best you don't procrastinate and make excuses.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
the classes are great, learning is actually fun just make sure the right courses are picked. picking a class that is below your academic level will leave you bored and unsatisfied.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
dorm space is okay depending on where you live. it is best that you try and find a good roommate or cool person to live with considering that is where most time will be spent. if anything happens between you and your roommate there are resident advisers that are there to help no matter what the situation is.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
the cafe always has good food and there is a wing place right beside it just in case you aren't feeling up to eating the same kinds of food or if the cafe is serving something you don't like.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
we have campus police that are always on scene no matter what happens. they put there numbers on signs all over the campus, and there are also emergency buttons located all over the campus.
