While attending the UNO, you will be faced with a lot of challenges especially academically as the school is a very good school in terms of academics.

Dorm Life's pretty amazing, The dorms are literally 6 years old ponchartrain hall has an indoor convenient store and multiple study rooms available at all times. I viewed these as a few deal breakers before i moved in and i made the right decision.

ARFOC, keeps the students with a large variety of healthy food choices daily.

Attend the greek activities and get involved on campus because there's so much to do.

While attending UNO there's an annual sucbauf, for most students who travel to the university it might seem a bit weird eating crawfish because that's whats being served there but to locals its just another huge crawfish boil and celebration in the big easy.
