Describe your college in three sentences.

The University of Nevada, Reno is an amazing school. It provides all the necessary amentities and activities to allow you to get the perfect college experience. I have made memories, friends, and educational acheivements that will last a lifetime.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

There is a lot you can do to keep up with the big change from being a high school senior to a college freshman. One of the many tips I would suggest for incoming freshmen is to keep up with all of your classes, when you don't understand something get help right away. And another important tip would be to make friends that you can depend on and who are supportive of your life goals, not people who are going to hold you down or distract you from your studies.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The University of Nevada, Reno has many teachers that will challenge their students in academic fields, forcing their students to be all they can. However, studying goes a long way, if you read and do all assignments that the teacher assigns you will excel in any class. And if the teachers provide extra credit assignments, do them!

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Dorm life at the University of Nevada, Reno has provided me with such an amazing experience. Everyone is so friendly that my hall and I are like one big happy family. Of course it is not always quiet when you want it to be, but hey! That's what the libraries for.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The food at the University of Nevada, Reno is perfect. When you are in the meal for buffet style dining the dining commons are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have Einstein Bagels, Keva Juice, Starbucks, Villa Pizza, Panda Express, BoDawgs, and other eateries located throughout campus.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

Since the school is in the middle of the city you will find lots of things to do year round. Casinos are within walking distance and skiing/snowboarding are only a thirty minute drive away. There are also movie theatres and bowling alleys nearby, and even an outdoor ice skating rink in the winter.
