Describe your college in three sentences.

University of Mount Olive is a small, diverse college. It has students of many ethnicity and religious background. If you're looking to be at a great university with a small setting, the University of Mount Olive is the place to be. We are a close net student body at this University and you'll never feel alone here.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Keep your grades up in high school even before entering your senior year. Study for your SAT and ACT. If you already taken those exams and feel that you could get a better score please retake those exams.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The academic rigor here is challenging where you are expected to perform to the best of your ability and more. All depending on your major, some classes are going to be moderate and others can be very challenging.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

They make an effort to match students with people with like interest so you can have a fun and pleasant experience. Its living on your own and being a responsible young adult. We also have dorm activities that help everyone get involve and get to know each other in the dorm. Fun, fun, fun.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The café is a great place to dine. You have a variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its also a place to meet up with your friends to plan your day. The food is very good and when parents or friends that do not attend University of Mount Olive come to visit, they can dine there also for a small fee.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

The school sporting events on campus is exciting. We also have Bingo night on Thursdays and prizes are given.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Students who are intimidated by very huge colleges/Universities, this would be the college to apply for. The classes are small and the teacher/student ratio is not that big depending on the class.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

I am involved with CAB (College Activities Board). We plan activities on campus and make improvements on activities that were already done. New ideas are always welcome.

There is no Greek life on campus but it wouldn't hurt to start academic Greek life. That is left for discussion.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Campus safety is great. They are present at all times.
