Get to know your teachers. They are there for you, not for the research money like at every other large university. They truly care about their students. You will get more from your experience if you involve your teachers and advisors.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
You can choose your level of commitment. They have a wide variety of classes available to take in fall, spring and summer. You can take the harder classes or take the easier, more concept classes. Either way you get a great experience.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I did not live in the dorms because I was a transfer, but everyone I met loved it.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
They have jamba juice, einsteins, starbucks and a bunch of other places to eat right on campus.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
The new Rec center is amazing!
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
There are blue help phones in every garage and near every building. Campus police is constantly patrolling. They keep students well informed of any possible threats.
