In the classes that would help me in my major I learn a lot, but the classes that have nothing to do with the major don't really help that much. In most of my classes I have TONS of notes of stuff that I've learned and in those classes I learn a lot.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I love being on this campus. It's a quick and easy walk from place to place and nothing is really that far from where ever you are. The sporting events are a blast! And the teams are really good. I also love the Greek system. I have had many good experiences here so far.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
This past summer about 3 different residence halls got ALL new furniture, including: xl beds and mattresses, desks, and chairs. The lofts that you can rent are really nice and easy to set up. The school plans on re-furnishing the rest of the residence halls in the next few years since the cost is high to re-furnish. The largest residence hall, the one I currently reside in, also just received a new alarm system that can detect almost anything to alert the residences. And the dining hall food isn't too shabby also. And the new fitness center is huge and has a lot more available than the current Multipurpose Building and it's soon to open.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Take time to walk about the campus and just take it all in. It's nice to just walk around the campus on a nice day.
