I am a Chemical Engineering major and this subject is not one to play with. My classmates are constantly working hard day in and day out on design projects and lab work. The courses here are strenuous but in the end it is so rewarding. I will have the knowledge that matches any of the other students attending the top engineering schools in the country.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
Tuskegee University is what you make of it. The diversity of things to do on campus is very large and the organizations and events are endless. There will be plenty of times where you get frustrated with this school but If you manage to link up with the right people and attend the right functions your experience here will be like no other.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
This institution is private so the tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state students. In the long run once you have that cap and gown and your degree you will think everything was worth it.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
School is always first. Know who you are when you are coming in as to not get lost throughout your journey here. There are plenty of influences, positive and negative but always keep your eye on the prize.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Pre-Vet, Nursing, Engineering, and Business Administration. This is a very well rounded school with students from Louisiana, California, New York, Alaska and even the West Indies. Everyone is welcome.
