Truman is a fantastic school to go for academics! The professors are mostly all phenomenal, the campus is cute and quaint, and it is all very affordable.

Be aware that Kirksville is somewhat of a small place, so you do have to make your own fun a lot of the times.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
It depends on the classes you take obviously. I was someone who studied a lot in high school, so having to study in college as well was not much of a struggle for me. If you aren't used to studying, I suggest you learn how!
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I love the dorms because you're always around a bunch of friends, but it can be annoying not to have your own space at times.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Sodexo isn't the best, but it isn't terrible either! You won't starve, it's okay!
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
The SAB puts on fun events, there is a movie theatre in town, and of course many social gatherings, like parties.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Perfect for students who like smaller campuses and are truly their to focus on their academics. There are athletics at Truman, but we're a school more known for our academics.
