A+! The King's College is a fantastic school that really has you broaden your horizons as you face the city life as well as the school's obstacles. It helps you mature and really brings out who you really are and what sort of things you might be interested in.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Come in with a positive attitude, but don't be disappointed if things don't go the way you want them to. Most people don't realize just how different College is to High school until they finally get there and let me reiterate, college is VERY different to High School in the fact that the pace is much faster. And at times it can be a little overwhelming. However, do not fear! Because everyone goes through this time of adjustment and is more than willing to help you so that you don't feel alone. Always ask for help if you need it. That's my tip.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The learning experience here so far from what I've experienced, is very good. The teachers have their own unique way in teaching which is very helpful, and they are always asking their students to ask questions incase they don't understand something. We are the 44th best college in Liberal Arts in the country, so if you still have some doubt there's proof for you right there that the students at King's College are indeed getting a good education. Our business program is top notch and is located in the middle of a where it all happens. Wall Street.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
Who needs a dorm when you have great apartments in the heart of it all. It come furnished with the basics to make you feel at home. And all have perks to them from their location to activities that are held in the buildings. Also because you are separated into houses you have a built in support system built in your apartment. Normally you fellow house members will be in the same buildings.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Your on your own for this one. The school supply's you with a great apartment with a stocked kitchen of pots and pans. But you will have to learn to cook. But no worries the school always is having events with free lunches, so u will survive well you learn to make Mac and cheese.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
There are plenty of fun things to do in the city. Most of the time when we're not busy studying, my friends and I will go out and explore the city. Go see a movie, maybe watch a comedy act, visit little Italy and china town, or see a free concert, The possibilities are endless and we always have a blast after an eventful afternoon of just walking around the city.

There is nothing like NYC and it really does have so much to offer. The nice thing about KIngs is they make so many things available to you, and will help you reach your goal. Its really cool when the president of the school is willing to sit down and talk to you one on one to find out what you might need to have a successful year.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
One of the most unusual traditions is the Great Race. All the different houses compete by racing around the city to locate something or retrieve an item. Then we all race back to the starting line. This takes hours and in the end it's Kings way of teaching you to get around the city. You earn points for your house and find new friends fast.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
If you are a mature students that wants to learn to be an achiever and take on real life experiences this will be the school for you.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
We have a range of different clubs from game board club,acting club, martial arts, to swing dancing. There is a full range on the school web.The nice thing is if you don't see what you like to do, the school will help you form a club. The school added two new varsity sports that I happen to be part of. For all you women golfers come and join me. It's a great time to be on a college golf team. Also there is track, basketball, softball, baseball, and many more.

We don't have Greek but houses like the old English school. It's a lot of fun competing against the other houses. You really do bond together as one.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Campus security is really good. You're a call away for help and the school and apartments are in the safest areas of the city. There is always someone making sure you are ok. I love my big sister looking over me and guiding me.
