If you introduce yourself to them and show genuine interest in passing their class, they will keep their eye on you and be very helpful. The city is a very college oriented city with both Texas Woman's and Univ. of North Texas being a few miles from each other. There a many things to do since the weekend begins on Thursday night. There are lots of places to eat and there is always something to get into that's affordable and safe.

TWU is not as expensive as other universities but you learn just as much- if not more!

Apply for financial aid EARLY! Get to know your advisers before classes begin. Visit the campus to see if you feel you will like it there. Talk to current students who are majoring in what you intend to major in.

It has a friendly atmosphere, it's not very expensive, and if you are a Health Science major, this is one of the top schools to choose from- especially Nursing and Kinesiology.
