A&M has so many resources that are readily available, it is amazing. How much you learn is really up to you! Take advantage of the great professors and teaching assistants, and the computers have every program imaginable. If you really dive into the material, almost every class is eye-opening and applicable to your major and your life!

Key advice: Get involved! My first semester, I was only involved in intramurals. They were fun, but it wasn't until I was busy with my fraternity that I really made friends and study buddies! The A&M campus is alive with tradition - Don't be shy, become the spirit!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Of course, A&M is a big Texas school and they can basically charge what they want and still have students lining up. However, regardless of the almost $20,000 per semester, the knowledge and experience I have gained is an investment that I know will pay off!

Apply early, and take advantage of AP testing - getting classes out of the way for free is invaluable! It has allowed me to focus on classes closer to my interests and my major. Also, put your heart and soul into that essay! It really counts!
