There are many clubs and organizations on campus that host events like open mic nights, spoken word acapella performances, plays, and other events. People also enjoy going into Philly and hanging out in dorms.

Swarthmore is definitely academically challenging but it is an amazing place where you learn to manage your time and have faculty help you along the way.

Annual pterodactyl hunt that takes place across campus, First Collection which is a quaker tradition that takes place in our outdoor amphitheater where we respond to questions about community and light candles before starting our freshman year, The Crum Regatta is a race where people build floats and race down Crum Creek, the entire campus is a beautiful arboretum!
