Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
One of Suffolk's best qualities are the small class sizes. This allows students to have personal relationships with their professors because they are so small. The academics at Suffolk can be challenging but are never completely overwhelming, depending on your major of course. Class schedule will depend on whether you are in the Sawyer Business School, or the College of Arts and Science - and whether you're a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science. Suffolk already has it worked into the curriculum that you can double major or minor without spending and additional time or money on your education.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
All of the four residence halls at Suffolk are suburb. The university wasn't a residential school until the mid 90s so the residence halls are relatively new. The rooms are spacious, carpeted and students have their own central air/heat that they can control. The shared common spaces in the Res Halls are clean and most of the time have fantastic views of the city. The res halls have 24/7 security as well.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Suffolk provides meal plans through Sodexo and makes sure all of the students are accommodated no matter what their dietary restrictions are. The best place to get food on campus is 73 Cafe but there are also plenty of places to get food around the general campus area.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
For a city school without a "campus" Suffolk has built and fostered a sense of community for its students through numerous clubs, organizations, and events on campus that are usually free and fun.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
SUPD makes sure that everyone is safe and secure while on campus and goes above and beyond to guarantee the comfort-ability and safety of Suffolk University students.
