Pretty Wednesday-was lit at first then died down.
SU literally has so many unnecessary pageants but I attend them all lol theyre fun.
The su shuffle- its a line dance that takes a while to learn but you MUST learn it because the somg will be played at every event
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
i like all my professors. They are very hands on and being that SU isnt really a big university they are one on one with the students. Just make yourself known to your professors and let them know that you are genuinely trying to make a good grade and they got you.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
If anyone says they think SU doesnt give us opportunities to be involved in things, theyre lying. There are so many clubs around campus and nobody takes to time to participate in them. SGA, AWS, Mens Fed, Gospel Choir, newspaper/magazine, oratorical league. it's definitely there, you just have to look
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Fall semester is AWESOME. Like, there is something going on all the time. Free t-shirts, sometimes free food, HOMECOMING!!! Spring semester starts off kind of dry but then theres like 63839 pageants (not just your typical pageant at all), foam party, spring fest.

Go to this HBCU. Learn to love this school. Southern University will change your life.

Southern University is a very unique school..and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It definitely has its ups and downs but probably any school, too. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with SU but i couldn't picture myself going anywhere else.
