southern university is a great school. on a scale of one to ten i give them a eight. southern is helping pave the way for me to have a successful future.

study hard, enjoy your time while your here and make sure you get all of your pre school stuff done ahead each semester.

the courses at southern are very manageable some more rigorous then others but anything is attainable if you want it.

the dorms are just regular college dorms i have nothing negative to say about the dorms.

the food is okay sometimes its a hit and miss situation. one day its the best food ever and the next its just regular food.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
there are tons of organizations to join for fun while teaching you basic skills that you will need later in life. there are campus events every week and there is a bowling ally and game room on campus.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
i love southern university and i wouldn't attend any other school!

we have alot of traditions on campus, some consist of bon fires, parties to raise money for cancer, pageants, concerts, crawfish days, barbecues, and pretty wednesday's which is where students dress up for school every wednesday. unusual locations would be the bluff (mississippi river) it sits right on our campus and is beautiful.

southern university is great for anybody who wants to be a part group but still a individual. if you love to learn and have fun and be an active student on and off campus southern is for you.

the clubs are amazing, starting from community service organizations, greeks, religious based groups, singing, dancing, modeling, sports and band there is a lot to offer.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
campus safety has increased over the last few years, there are lights everywhere at night campus police are always on patrol and they have services that can pick you up at night and take you where you need to go on campus at night even if you are not fully comfortable walking alone.
