Describe your college in three sentences.

Busy, Intense, cheap

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Be prepared, things move really fast and you'll be pretty busy most of the time

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The teachers are usually very kind with their grading, but they do expect you to come prepared and to fail a little. One teacher explained to me that he likes to teach so he doesn't care if you don't know all of the answers

Describe the food and dining at your college.

It's hard finding gluten free options on-campus and a lot of the prices are super-inflated for the amount of food you're getting. Still, a lot of on-campus activities offer free food, once a month there's a free lunch for commuter students and the monks never hesitate to give you food.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

Go to down town Olympia

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

You get a lot of free things from the school, they're very serious about getting their students into a job as soon as they graduate and giving a big financial aid package

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

There's a monastery on-campus, a pond, the Lacey library is more-or-less in the back-yard as are the Lacey police and there's a huge forest you can hike through

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Friendly people seem to congregate here ad students aren't afraid of a little hard-work

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

There's a lot of things to get involved with, it's just tough to find the time to do all of them!

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Very safe
