Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
Most departments are opportune places to learn and network, and the professors are willing to push and support you.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
Housing is expensive compared to off-campus apartments, but compared to other universities it's about the same. Luckily it is optional to live on campus during your freshman year.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
There are two cafeterias, and they offer decent, but limited, food. The pricing isn't the cheapest, so this system can definitely use some work.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Very affordable, and you can get a Purdue degree. The professors are mostly good and the opportunities are limitless. I would recommend getting off-campus housing by renting in a house or apartment. There is plenty of parking space on campus.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Students that prefer campuses that aren't super busy or crowded would love IPFW. There are few enough students that you don't just feel like a number, and you can spot friends/classmates around campus all the time.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
There are many intramural opportunities, clubs, and campus events that happen regularly. If you look, you'll be able to find interesting stuff to do weekly, if not daily.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
There are emergency poles almost everywhere, and the campus itself is very calm and friendly.
