Diverse community. Practical experience. Near Baltimore and Philadelphia allowing fundamental opportunities to recognize and test the many different cultural lifestyles.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Be open minded and be willing to try something new and out of your comfort zone. However, do not be naïve. Know where you are going, who is going to be there and what type of function you are attending.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
Courses can be tough, and the work load can be extremely difficult. Allow yourself plenty of time to complete the assignments.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I live at home and commute. I have been to the dorms and they seem updated and easily accessible to both the university and off campus stores and local attractions.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
I have lunch 3 times per week on campus. Meals are reasonable and there is a better than average variety.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
I have attended a few parties on campus, but spend most of my free time nearby eating out in Harrisburg and Hershey and attending concerts in Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Reasonable Cost of Education at a well known University. Easy access to the campus.

Any and all types of students are welcome and accepted by the student body. I do not think anyone feels out of place.

There are all types of clubs and activities available for a student to join and experience.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Campus Police are present giving the safe and secure feeling, but not overbearing giving an imprisoned feeling.
