I would say to come into your college experience with an open mind. It can be really easy to automatically judge a campus when you arrive, but it is very important to keep an open mind through it all.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
It is rather rigorous here. Like all other schools, some classes are easier than others. However, the classes get harder as you go, especially in your specific major.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
The sense of community is strong within the dorms. It really does feel like OC is home. There is plenty of room, and it is mostly clean all of the time. It is your typical college dorm experience.

The cafeteria is alright. The salad bar and cereal is always a good, safe bet. Plus, chicken Monday's are always the way to go! We also have other food options through Eagle Bucks, such as Chick-Fil-A and Sonic, which is great.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
My friends and I hang out on campus often. However, when we go off campus, we go see movies, hike, and hammock quite often.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
OC can seem a little pricey, but compared to other colleges, it really is not. It is definitely worth the money that you put into it!
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
All of the dorms are accessible only through Student ID's. Along with that, Campus Police are very helpful and easy to access. All in all, I always feel safe on campus!
