Some classes have challenged me, but in many others, I have to challenge myself to grow. In some of the introductory courses, it would not take much effort to receive an A in the class. Doing the minimum will hurt you in the long run though.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
There is not much social activity. There are people from all different walks of life (different ages, social classes, nationalities, races, etc.). That makes it interesting, but most people show up to class, don't interact, and then leave when it's over. It's hard to make friends unless you get involved in a program with a small number of students.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
If you find that it is hard to meet people, try to find ways to get involved with a group or make a stronger effort to befriend classmates.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Self-motivated students, adults who are returning to school, students who are unsure of what they want to major in, and students who want to save money
