I am so glad that I went to this University. Contrary to what has been reported, I give Mountain State University 5 stars for the education that I have received thus far.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Although, Mountain State University will exist no more in 2013 and the University of Charleston will be taking it over, I will truly miss being a Mountain State University Cougar. Although, the buildings will be the same, the people won't be the same. Farewell, Mountain State University. You will be missed.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The courses that I have taken at Mountain State University have prepared me for a job as a Certified Medical Assistant and for most of my Bachelors in Health Studies and it has been greatly appreciated.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I don't know anything about dorm life because I didn't live on campus.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The Cougar Den provided a great menu for the students and the food was delicious!
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Mountain State University always tried to provide great entertainment with basketball games, movie night, dances and bowling.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
I just appreciate everything that Mountain State University's staff, faculty and students did to help my college experience be memorable.

Every year in October, the AAMA chapter at MSU always had a Medical Assistant week, that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
They also had a bible study at the Methodist Church for the students that missed being home and wanted to learn about Jesus.

Mountain State University had many clubs and activities for the students to participate in and it really made students feel special.

I know nothing about the Greek Life because I didn't join any sororities.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Mountain State University had some of the best security guards on campus and I felt very safe attending when I had traditional classes.
