Describe your college in three sentences.

A School for motivated Students who want an excellent education, especially in engineering Fields. Small campus and class size leading to a closer working relationship with professors and other students. Beautiful area and nice people with plenty of employment options.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Be prepared to work. The classes are intended to be very challenging and the teachers take that to heart. You'll have to work hard but sticking with it will help to make you one of the most marketable engineers in the country.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The work is hard and the curriculum intense but there is plenty of help available if one wants it and the professors are always more than willing to help.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Have a lot of activities one can participate in. Clean, well maintained facilities with easy access to anything one might need.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

Not the worlds best buffet but for the price that's payed can't complain at all. The grill food is pretty good and the kitchen staff are all good folks.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

If you like the outdoors then the butte area is perfect. The hyper building (our recreations facility) has recently been renovated and it is packed with different work out equipment, tennis courts, racquetball courts, and various other rooms and equipment available.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Easily the best education that can be had for the price payed if one wants to become an engineer.

St. Patrick's day in butte is big time here. The school is predominantly funded by industry and have lots of support from industry so we have access to a lot of different tools, techniques, and material that most colleges simply don't.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

If you want to be an engineer, don't mind a smaller campus and all it en-tales, are willing to work hard then tech is the place to be.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

There are many different clubs on tech to meet pretty much anyone interests. If there isn't a club that suits you its fairly easy process to make one.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Pretty quite campus where most of the folks are as nice as it gets. We generally don't have problems here at tech.
