Mitchell Tech is great! There is a lot to do on and off campus. Not to mention the Faculty is very helpful when needed.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
My tips for future students is to start looking for housing a couple months in advance prior to starting school. There is a housing shortage in Mitchell, SD.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The academic rigor is not that bad. I personally love it. The instructors set you up to win not fail. Though some of the work is hard the school does offer free tutoring for those that need it.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I do not live at the dorms or apartments that Mitchell Tech has.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The food is suburb! It is made fresh everyday from our own Mitchell Tech Culinary class. They offer a wide variety and best part is they send out e-mails everyday to tell you what is on the menu.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Mitchell Tech puts on a number of things through out the year for the student body. Dodge ball tournaments, Fishing derbies, trap league, rodeos, and numerous speakers.

For being a two year institute you get your money's worth. Not only that but there is varies discounts given throughout the town if you are a Mitchell Tech student.

There are numerous clubs you can join such as Trap league, Rodeo, Skills USA, Student Rep Board, and Students Veteran Organization.
