Review of Missouri University of Science and Technology
from Platte City, MO
Do you feel you’re learning a lot?
The classes are tough, but when you get that good grade, you know you earned it and really knew the material.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I absolutely love it here! The students here are great. If you're ever lost just ask anyone and he/she will guide you. Students here care about each other. You meet people with the same interests because this is mostly an engineering school. This school always has something to do.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
This school works very hard to prepare the students for the work world. The students leave Missouri S&T with a good technical background.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Balance work and study. Don't study yourself to death, but then again don't completely neglect your school work. Find people to make study groups. Friends with the same classes always works. Enjoy your college experience. It's four (or five) years of your life that you'll never be able to get back. Make the best of it through having fun and most importantly by studying hard.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Those who want to pursue an engineering degree. This school gives you the right background and companies flock to that.
